First Annual Charter School Jobs™ Fair NYC - Winter 2015 Delivers Talent Early

(New York, NY) Anticipating strong demand for talent, we produced and hosted Charter School Jobs™ Fair NYC - Winter 2015 this weekend at the DoubleTree Metropolitan Hotel in Midtown New York City. Over 225 prescreened certified teachers, non-instructional professionals, school leadership and business managers were given the opportunity to meet with 34 charter schools located in the Metropolitan New York City area.

Kent Strong, CEO of  Charter School Jobs, Inc., said "A big increase in the competition for teaching, non-instructional and leadership talent has taken place over the last 12 months or so." Based on the long-term success of the  Metro NY Charter School Career Fair (a Charter School Jobs, Inc. event that has been co-hosted and produced with Teachers College, Columbia University annually for the past 13 years) and the strong growth of new and expanding charter schools in the region, “we needed to expand the number of recruitment events in order to meet the growing needs of our charter school customers”, according to Mr. Strong.
